Demonstrations of stapling and transferring of pictures to stones were popular especially among children.Demonstration of grinding and polishing precious stones.

Besides minerals, fossils, jewellery and various decorative stone objects it was also possible to see demonstrations of processing, such as cutting, grinding and adornment of stones. We would like to thank all employees of the Národní dùm at Vinohrady for their great contribution to the installation and organization of this exhibition. We also appreciate the number of exhibitors and their collections, that helped highlight the rank of the event.
And of course our greatest thanks are to the visitors. We were pleasantly surprised by the children's interest in stone finishing.
This was the first year of the Geosvět Praha exhibition and we are aware there is room for improvement yet.
For example we lacked orientation boards, where the visitors could find the location of individual exhibits, and other shortcomings could be found too. We shall welcome any idea for improvement or comment on the Geosvět Praha 2004 exhibition at our address: Geosvět, Londýnská 55, 120 21 Prague 2, or info@geosvet.cz.

We promise that the next year of Geosvět Praha 2005, which will again take place in Národní dům, Vinohrady, on the last weekend of February, i.e. 26. - 27., 2005, will be even better prepared than this years'.

We have many surprises in store for both visitors and exhibitors and collectors. One of the ideas is to hold an auction of especially valuable and unique mineral specimens.

What do you think? We are looking forward to your ideas and comments.
